Going Home

And He will raise you up on eagle's wings, Bear you on the breath of dawn,
Make you to shine like the sun, And hold you in the palm of His Hand.

"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run,
and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint." Isaiah 40:31

 
The hands of a child return us back home, symbolizing the sequential journey through life and the beginning of the cycle of eternity. Shown through the clouds are the many generations of family that unite each and every one of us in the commonality of humanity. The child’s hands echo the pure innocence of youth and its expectant acceptance of our Father’s unconditional love and affection. Three Doves symbolize the purity of heart creating the triune God as the forth Dove returns home to the flock.
Emerging from clouds is Jesus Christ completing the Holy Trinity as the creation of the universe and all that is, unfolds within the palm of our Lord’s hand. There are twelve points of light each one bearing the task in the creation of the universe to spread His word as did the apostles. Although we are each the jewel in God’s eyes, may we always remain humble in His awesome presence. His reflection in the ocean serves as a constant reminder that the Spirit of God is always with us patiently awaiting the return of His children, "Going Home".
 
To my Mother who I love so dearly, embrace me when I come home.
